Workshop 1 "How to Enhance Your Confidence and Presence"

12 October 2017 at Hotel Scandic Fornebu

12 October 2017 at Hotel Scandic Fornebu

Do you wish you could be better...

To set boundaries? To speak up and share your opinion? To say ‘no’ or ‘yes with conditions’ to people’s requests without feeling guilty about it? To reduce your self-doubt? To stop internalising setbacks? To reduce your self-criticism? To stop overthinking things? To reduce dwelling on mistakes & failures?

Learning new skills

Lacking sufficient amounts of confidence and presence impacts your career, success, and fulfilment. The good news is confidence and presence are not fixed psychological states. They are skills that can be learned like any other skill.

You won't discover confidence by thinking positive thoughts or by telling yourself that you are perfect as you are. You also won't find it by simply squaring your shoulders and faking it. What it requires is a choice: less people pleasing and perfectionism and more action, risk taking, and learning from experience.

What you are going to learn

This workshop will provide an informative and practical guide to understanding the importance of building strong and healthy confidence and presence for professional Management Assistants of all business sectors and at all stages of their career.

Combining research from psychology, behaviour, and cognition this talk offers the knowledge and practical advice MAs need to close the gap and achieve the careers and respect they want and deserve.

Workshop 2 "How to Build a Stress-Resilient Brain"

26 October 2017 at Hotel Scandic Holmenkollen Park

26 October 2017 at Hotel Scandic Holmenkollen Park

A natural part of life

Stress is, unfortunately, a natural part of life - especially in our busy and hectic modern times. But you don't have to let it get in the way of your health and happiness. Studies show that the key to coping with stress is simpler than you think - it's all about how you respond to the situations and things that stress you out or threaten to overwhelm you.

What you are going to learn

The Stress-Resistant Brain offers powerful, comprehensive tools based in neuroscience, and positive psychology to help you put a stop to unhealthy responses to stress - such as avoidance, tunnel vision, negative thinking, self-criticism, fixed mindset, and fear. Instead, you'll discover unique exercises that provide a recipe for resilience, empowering you to master your emotional responses, overcome negative thinking, and create a more tolerant, stress-resistant brain.

By creating a more stress tolerant, resilient brain, you'll learn to shrug off the small stuff, deal with the big stuff, and live a happier, healthier life.

Workshop 4 "Learn to Crack the Code to Structuring Your Day"

30 November 2017 at Hotel Scandic Vulkan

30 November 2017 at Hotel Scandic Vulkan

Are you over-extended, over-distracted, and overwhelmed? Do you work at a breakneck pace all day, only to find that you haven’t accomplished the most important things on your agenda when you leave the office? Have you ever wondered why some people just seem to get loads more work done than others?

Everybody gets the same twenty-four hours in a day

In this fast-paced world, we are required to push out work at increasingly greater speed. In an era where information can be transmitted across the internet in a matter of milliseconds, the demand for work to get accomplished quickly is increasing.

Bringing motivation and productivity into your life

Unfortunately, your hours are often wasted by distractions and a lack of motivation.

We will discuss how we can create more time, eliminate distractions and be fully engaged in our work, whether it's in your job or in your personal life.

Don’t worry, this doesn’t mean working your fingers to the bone for eighteen hours a day like some people claim they do. Here, we find a balance between work and personal life so that your overall well-being is taken care of. Being satisfied across the board helps bring motivation and productivity into your life naturally.

What you are going to learn

In this workshop, Jason Liem will share with you proven skills to:

  • Declutter your Mind

  • Create a Schedule

  • Streamline your Day

  • Avoid Distractions

  • Plan Ahead
